jetsetter (n) – a person who travels frequently; often, it is used to describe someone in high society with a glamorous life.
Matt and I have a couple of trips planned over the next few months. This weekend we’re visiting my friend in Lake Tahoe for her 30th birthday. In September, we are flying to Las Vegas for a weekend with another couple. I’ve been dying to ride the High Roller, but haven’t had a chance to the last few times we’ve been in town. It’ll still be warm there so I’m definitely hitting the pool deck one of the days we’re there. Hopefully, we’ll win some money gambling too. After finding out that casino-bonus.me.uk provides reviews, I’ve been researching all types of casino games and even practiced online as well. I would say I’ve picked up some games pretty quickly and then others, like poker, which I haven’t quite mastered yet but I feel as though I’m very prepared to enter the casino now, well, at least I know how to play! Love me some Gold Fish slots and craps if I fail at winning back some money on them though, I’ll go back to using online sites like FanDuel US sportsbook to place bets on sports matches, I may even place a couple as I’m in a Las Vegas casino placing physical bets.
Las Vegas should be a great time, especially since it’ll be my friend Shelby’s first time in Sin City! I’ll have to make sure that I tell her all she needs to know about Las Vegas because I want her to feel the same excitement that we feel, and there is nothing better than experiencing it before she’s even stepped foot on the ground. She already knows about the casinos, and she’s even decided to read this pay by phone casino guide to see what other types of online games she can look forward to, in case she loves the physical ones more than she expected. I have no doubt that this will happen, as the casinos are so much fun. See, I’m getting excited just thinking about going back to Vegas and enjoying all that it has to offer. I hope Shelby feels the same way too. The flight is only an hour and a half from San Francisco, which makes it a quick trip there and back. Matt and I try to fly to Vegas a couple of times a year and see his brother who lives out there.
This November we’re going on a 7-day cruise on the Norwegian Cruise Line to Mexico to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. It’s the first cruise for both of us and we’re looking forward to quality R&R time together. The ship will dock in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Mazatlán. The only places I’ve been to in Mexico are Rosarito (college spring break 06!) and Cancun so I’m excited to see a bit more.
So about the outfit: The Jetsetter sweatshirt was a recent find I couldn’t pass up. I’m wearing my favorite high-waisted shorts, which are on sale at American Eagle right now. My sandals are from Forever 21 and are so comfortable. I can’t wear sandals anymore without padding because one too many times I’ve bought a flat pair with no cushioning, only to have my knees ache within an hour of wearing them. Lesson learned. A bonus about these sandals: they’re inexpensive and come in black and coral, too.
