I am so excited to share this upcoming reception at my favorite wine bar, A Grape in the Fog, with my favorite photographer, Bradley Wittke. Brad and I have collaborated on many of fashion posts this year as featured on Beach Town Blonde (just a few examples Boho in the Quarry, Birthday Girl, Jetsetter). His coastal photography is incredible and his metal prints are a must-have for any beachside dweller or photography lover. Photography has obviously changed over the decades, luckily more and more people can get into it, and read more on how they too can contribute to the creativity behind the camera. Stop by A Grape in the Fog October 8th from 7-9pm to meet the photographer in-person, have a glass of wine, and pick up one of these gorgeous prints! Live music by music of Benny Torres (RSVP on Facebook).

Brilliant Color, on Metal. Color, featuring rich and vibrant colors captured through the eye of the lens. I have been capturing moments with photography for years and I have never seen a medium like metal which represents the color and sharpness of the images I have captured. I am excited to bring this out for the show and share with everyone. (www.PacificaGallery.com / IG @pacificagallery)
Bio: I am a photographer living in Pacifica. My family and I moved to Pacifica in 2013, but we have a long history with the area getting married at Rockaway Beach back in 2004.
After taking photos for years, I decided that it was time to start doing this for real and I began putting together my portfolio, created samples and began approaching businesses to put my photography on display. With good fortune, I came across Steve and Robby Bancroft who were putting the finishing touches on their business, Breaker’s Breakfast Brunch and Lunch at Rockaway Beach. Steve and Robby were looking for local flavor to add to their walls and my photography was the perfect match. (Side note, Breakers used to be Acapulco Restaurant and it is where my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner back in 2004).
In addition to Breakers, I have brought my photography to Flavor on the Coast and Maverick’s Surf Shop in Pillar Point, Perfect Pour Coffee in Pacifica and Sirens Boutique in Pacifica. In this exhibit, I am displaying multiple images printed on a unique medium, metal. Which creates a luminescent, vibrant display of color and imagery.
My eye and passion is what separates me from the pack. Multiple times, I have brought my photography places to show off and upon initial conversations, the quick response is “We have many photographers already, we don’t need more coastal views” Then, I take out my portfolio and almost instantly, the tone changes and becomes how we can work together. In addition to my eye, I also print my work in ways that show them off the most, large canvas or multi-panel canvas and metal. In addition to coastal views, I actively photograph people, events and whatever else catches his eye.
I have worked at Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto since 1999. Working there has given him the opportunity to travel, make connections and grow as an individual from a college intern to a program manager in the Visual Analytics System Team within HP Labs, HP’s research arm. Family first, with my twin daughters and wife of 10 years. Photography is my passion and has been since getting my first digital camera in college.
I have won multiple contests, been featured in travel journals and CNN. Look for me on or around the coast capturing moments, www.PacificaGallery.com. My work is available for purchase and I can also provide photography services upon request. I am the official photographer for Miramar Events, which hosts the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival and other events in the region. I am also member and board member for the Pacifica Chamber of Commerce.
