Weekends are for adventuring and this past Sunday, Matt and I decided to stay local. Friends have been posting about seeing whales along the coast and we wanted to get in on the action. We weren’t the only ones at the Sharp Park Pier looking for a glimpse of these huge underwater mammals.
Matt and I are planning a few road trips this summer and fall while the weather is nice and gas prices are somewhat low. There are so many places to see, but not enough free weekends to do them all! Next weekend we are headed to Monterey for a night. We want to check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which Matt and I both can’t remember if we’ve ever been. Of course while we’re in town, we have to order some fresh seafood. Before we head home, I want to get some picture-taking in with my DSLR and maybe make a pitstop at the tide pools.
A couple weeks ago, I went to New York City to attend the DigiDay Content Marketing Awards on behalf of Clever Girls. We took home the first award of the night for Best Agency/Client Collaboration for our work on Western Union’s #WUHomecooked project! We were also a finalist for Best Content Marketing Agency.
